AWS Electric (Durham, CT) came to my mom’s house to redo the circuit breaker and related wiring. This company is awesome. We offered to pay more than the quoted price because the house is 120 years old and the wiring was a mess. In spite of the extra time needed, Andrew told us he would stick to the quoted cost. Before the team was done, they were all over the house with walkie talkies making sure everything worked and the circuit breakers were labeled properly. If you need an electric service, do yourself a favor and call AWS.

Andrew was very professional and was very respectful. He came in and within what felt like a few minutes realized the problem. He fixed what he could for the night so we had electricity until he could return in the morning to fix all the other problems. He took pictures of the problem in the basement to show my wife and me. My wife can’t walk stairs right now so it was very nice of him to include her in the assessment of the problems. He was very fair with his pricing. We will be asking him to return whenever we need help in the future.

On my 2nd charger install with 3 different companies and while Qmerit nearly dropped the ball AGAIN, Andrew and AWS stepped in and saved the day. My house has a new hardwired charger with professional conduit, I have peace of mind, and Andrew continues to follow up with me as I navigate the state rebate process. Will definitely be reaching out to Andrew and AWS Electric to further update the electrical innards of my hundred year old home.

Highly recommend Drew from AWS. I always reach out to AWS for any of my electrician needs. This past time Drew came out on a Sunday to repair an outlet that was giving us an issue. And we couldn’t get the furnace running without….He came out without hesitation and as always did a great job.

I recently had AWS at my house for a service upgrade and sub panel install in the garage. They were on time, professional, and the work was great quality. I personally recommend AWS for any job, big or small.

Our older home had been remodeled with new panel and wiring on first floor. Our entire second floor lost electrical power due to a short in significantly older wiring that was never upgraded. Andrew and his crew came in to assess situation and followed through the following week with a complete replacement of the older wiring with some key updates to switches locations and increased wiring strength to handle AC units. The folks at AWS were efficient and easy to work with. They treated our home with respect, taking care not to create a mess. No walls even needed repairs. I particularly liked that Andrew has a trainee/apprentice on his crew and he oversaw his work and gave terrific instructions. AWS is my goto for all my future electrical projects. I contacted AWS Electric LLC to assist in the install of a new Mini Split heating and cooling system.
